Lots of important match-ups today. Can the Ducks halt their skid? Can the Bruins continue their winning streak? We'll find out this evening.

Check out the starting goalies (http://www.leftwinglock.com/starting-goalies/), line combinations (http://www.leftwinglock.com/line-combos/), and team information (http://www.leftwinglock.com/teams/).

New Time on Ice tool: it's very cool (http://www.leftwinglock.com/player-stats/toi/).

Need stating goalie alerts but can't check Left Wing Lock all day long? Try out our iPhone App (http://www.leftwinglock.com/iphoneapp/) or our e-mail alerts (http://www.leftwinglock.com/emailalerts/).

Post your comments, questions, and confirmations about today's goalies in this thread.

If I'm not mistaken, tonight is the first meeting between the Bruins and the Sabres since Lucic annihilated Miller (http://www.leftwinglock.com/content.php?185-Lucic-Drills-Ryan-Miller). Should be some fireworks tonight. If you own Lucic, make sure you start him for the PIMs. Expect Gaustad to earn you some PIMs if you need a spot start.

I have Backstrom, Lehtonen and Lundy tonight. Leaning towards Lundy and Backstrom

Tim Thomas off the ice first this morning. He'll likely be going for his third straight shutout tonight. via @HackswithHaggs (https://twitter.com/#!/HackswithHaggs/status/139387036305080320)

Not that it is relevant to tonight's game, but you might see Hackett as the backup to Backstrom this evening. He tweeted something a little earlier today about 'going up' but has since removed the tweet. I emailed the Wild's beat writer about 10 minutes ago and am hoping to find out what's up.

I wanna play Thomas and Quick but part of me doesnt wanna play Thomas as i think fit will hit the shan during the bos buf game. I might go with Quick and Brodeur to be safe.

Regarding my post above: I heard back from Michael Russo (from Russo's Rants (http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/Russos_Rants.html)). Here is a summary:

Backstrom is still on track to start tonight. He could possibly need to leave the team in the next few days for a day or two. This is not injury/trade related.

*******

With the Wild playing on both Friday and Sunday, it is possible that Harding will get a start soon.

Ok, so my cryptic note above actually came to fruition a bit sooner than expect. Backstrom is out; Harding is in.

I gave advice saying Backstrom was likely to get more starts this week than Khabi, oops.

Enroth not confirmed? Anything up or there is just no source yet. If healthy its hard to imagine he doesn't play today with a day off tomorrow

Enroth not confirmed?

Haven't seen anything from the Coach confirming Enroth. However, there's no way they go with MacIntyre tonight.

Not expecting any surprises here. I've seen author-less Yahoo notes about Enroth starting but they reference Buffalo News articles that don't exist.

I'd go Howard and flip a coin on the other two. A week ago I would've said Lehtonen in a second, but things have cooled out a bit in Dallas since then.

If I must pick two, I'd say Howard and Smith. But something tells me the Ducks are going to start showing up sometime soon and tonight could be the night.

Hope my $.02 can help a little...

Even if the Ducks were rolling Smith and the Yotes can't be discounted. Howard and Smith for sure.

EDIT: Rinne you have about 50 mins to be confirmed before I have to go and put Crawford in your place, hope you check the forums.
