Hey all. I'm commishing a 10 team head-head league on yahoo and only have 3 slots taken thus far. My buddy and I are bigtime hockey lovers just can't find others to play locally. Serious players only, please! Draft is Saturday night, 10/1. info below....

Hmm, its too bad my draft is taking place Weds night or I'd play with you guys. That is my main league though..if I had already drafted I would love to jump in another league but I don't know if I'll have the time - when is the draft taking place out of curiosity?

Edit: I see the draft took place Saturday night, so how would that work if I jumped in? Would I inherit a roster I guess?

Shoot me a PM if the slot is still available and let me know about the team thing..if I inherit a roster, would I be able to review it before I commit? Like you, I am a competitor by nature. I love to have fun and enjoy my fantasy sports with the people in my league (which is why this league I'm in has been together for so long and not just for hockey but for all other fantasy sports as well)...but in the end I want to win lol, so I wouldn't want to inherit some really bad team to be totally honest. Ha, not looking to join, but I actually like inheriting bad teams, because there is only 1 way to go. I took a last place team in a 12 man H2H league to 4th. My goal is to win it all this year.

I shouldnt have said he sucked. I just think he is highly overrated and plays a very cheap style of hockey. Never seen a 200+ lbs d-man take dives like him. Plus his point production is down for a guy who is a steady power play guy.

I'm with you, Jonesie. I have P.K. on my fantasy team, but in real life.......especially being a B's fan, I can't stand the guy. He's an agitator, have seen him take cheap shots then skate away looking at the ref with his shoulders shrugged like "what did I do ?", and think he's overrated as well. However, with him only being paid $875K this year and then a RFA, I guess he's certainly worth the money. :(
