Per RotoWorld: If you’re the owner of a struggling Anaheim forward, you may want to consider benching him for certain road games and the reason for this is simple: the Ducks are severely lacking secondary scoring, making it easy for home teams to match up their best defensive units when they control the last line change. The trio of Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan have combined for 41 points in their 16 home games this season, good for 2.56 points per game, but they have only registered 21 points in 13 away contests, or 1.62 points per game.
I didn't realize the home team controlled line changes like that. Something I never knew. Plus interesting info on the top 3 Ducks and how they perform at home vs the road

Oh ya, that's one of the very few advantages of being the home team.

It makes sense that this is the case against teams that have a legitimate shut down group. This is why the ducks need that second line to produce, or they need to shuffle the lines to spread the wealth a little bit.

I have 3 ducks so this is good info thanks
This could also be true for a lot of other teams that lack secondary scoring. I knew home team gets last change, but I never really thought about how it could affect fantasy. I'm going to see if this is true for other teams as well.

I've already been benching Getzlaff when I don't have enough spots open to fit him in. Now I'll be even less apt to play him when they are on the road.
As stated earlier, why not just "TRY" different line combo's. I do not see too many (if any) Anehiem games so maybe this has already been done, and if there is a basic lack of talent on the team other than the top 3, then they are stuck. But what about Selenne? He has 29 pts - not bad... But man, if I could just get Getzlaf going a bit more.....he hurts my team sometimes......:(

Getzlaf has been picking it up a bit of late
