Hi All,

Here is my team for my Yahoo H2H league (12 teams).
Stats used are G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, Blocks, W, SV %, GAA, SO

Center: Henrik Sedin, Mikko Koivu
Left Wing: Ilya Kovalchuk (LW/RW), Thomas Vanek
Right Wing: Dany Heatley, Ales Hemsky
Defense: Chris Pronger, Duncan Keith, Kevin Shattenkirk, Kimmo Timonen
Utility: TJ Oshie (C/RW)
Bench: Patrice Bergeron (C), Andrew Brunette (LW), Nik Antropov (C), Evgeni Nabokov (G)
Goalies: Ilya Bryzgalov, Cam Ward

At this point, I am basically conceding PIM each week. Would it be worth dropping one of my centers to help with PIM? I'm hoping Nabokov plays well when given the opportunity for trade value.

BTW great site! This was extremely helpful last season

No PIM's but otherwise pretty solid.

Ive said it once and I will say it again, Nabokov belongs in the free agency pool.

Grab Chris Neil if he's available.

I hope I dont end up offending anyone but I think Nabokov is a waste of room on any fantasy roster at this point.

Not offending me, I think Montoya ends up with that job anyway don't you? I mean Di Pietro can't stay healthy for like 20 games...Montoya has played reasonably well when given the chance...I guess Nabokov will get starts just because of his past history but ultimately I think its Montoya's job to lose. Just my opinion of course. I mean he looked great against the Wild today...only gave up 2 goals to FL and got no offense in return...obviously he is their guy right now so I'd agree, don't see the point in using a roster spot for that guy when there are plenty of others like Conklin/Schneider/Hedberg/Emery/etc.. that are better backups.

If you need PIM's, which he does, Neil is a good option. Nabokov really isn't helping him at all right now. So, yeah, go for it.

Dude's got more PIM's that ice time so far

Question: do you think Matt Cullen is worth picking up for say Sully? He is playing between Heatly and Setoguchi isn't he? 2 goals in 2 games, not bad ice time..just curious what you think?

I agree that it should be Montoya`s Job to lose, and with that being said, Rick should be able to stay healthy playing a handful of games a month.

And this is one reason why I love hockey.

i've heard him bandied about a little bit (I can't believe I used the word bandied) but I'm sure there are better season long options than him.

Yeah, unfortunately I always seem to forget about PIM when drafting. I did this last year too, but eventually added Steve Ott (right before playoffs). I was hoping to be a little more proactive this year.

Montoya played well the end of last year and is off to a good start this season as well. I agree, at this pace Nabokov will be a waste behind both Montoya and Di Pietro.
