So ..... does this mean he's suspended for 5 or 8 games - whatever it is - next season?
Think it's safe to assume the Pre-Season will not count towards those games

I'm reading his suspension is over on Sunday and his surgery will happen Tuesday. That seems unreasonable to me.

I'm not happy to see anybody get hurt, but his injury probably saved injuries . He is such a rockhead. He still lost money.

I'm right with you there. As a 'Hawks fan, I winced when they signed him, remembering what a jerk he was in the 09-10 Cup final (sorry for bringing that up :o). He's the kind of guy whose style of play only brings injuries to his own team.
Just to clarify this situation since there were some questions on it: Carcillo's suspension is over. A player on the active roster can serve suspension time even if said player is unfit to play in a game.

yeah he can serve suspension as long as he hasn't been placed on the IR.

I couldn't believe Mullet Melrose telling Brad Marchand to keep up the cheap shots. He needs it as part of his game. I guess he gave the same suggestion to Matt Cooke. Cooke finally got it, this year.

Barry Melrose? Really? Someone's still paying that monument to the mute button to run his yap? Glad I don't have to put up with him.
