Im offering Hiller and Ribeiro for Zetty, what do you guys think, fair or no?

My other centers are Getzlaf and Roy, also have marleau (LW/C), Mcdonald (Lw/c), ruutu (Lw/c). Other goalies are Ward and Miller.

His goalies are Pavelec, Smith and Thomas.

You will probably need a third goalie after this deal, but if there is a decent wire pickup or another trade somewhere I MIGHT make this deal.

Though there are seven goalie categories compared to 15 skater categories, you only have two starting goalies contributing to these seven categories. Whereas you probably have at least 10 skaters contributing to the 15 skater categories.

if it goes thru, i think he will end up dropping either smith or pavelec. Moreover, theres bernier, Schneider, Montoya, Dubnyk, Bullin Wall, most are backups but i figured since goalie stats is less than 1/3 of the total stats, and i can only start 2 a night (no max or min games required) I figured picking up a backup isnt so bad.

What do you think?

First off I think I would target Dubnyk out of those goalies available. I mean isn't he their starter? Yes he plays for a crappy team but damn he looked good against Pitt. I would pick him up regardless.

Second, Ward...to me that dude is very iffy. He has NOT looked good in his two starts this year. I know its an extremely small sample size but I worry about the guy.

You are pretty stacked up front already - no denying adding Z will certainly improve your forward situation, even possibly make it deadly. But you have to weight the gains with the potential losses. Personally before you do anything I'd add Dubnyk. I mean he's a starter, might as well as grab him - at the very least you could spot start him. Then you'd have Ward, Miller and Dubnyk if you went ahead and traded Hiller. I think that puts you in a much better situation personally.

Then I'd proceed from there..but that's me personally. I also agree wholeheartedly with what Mike and SirJesto pointed out...goalies have the biggest impact on your score in terms of the amount of players involved.
