I am so surprised that more people don't know about this site. I see people posting on yahoo boards all the time about starting goalies and various information regarding player statuses. I advertise you guys and implore people to register all the time. In one sense I am glad not too many people know about this site because it does give me an edge. On the other hand, it benefits LWL more by having more members. Kind of a catch 22.

This is by far the best FH site I have seen. IMO the most knowledgeable and fanatical fantasy hockey poolers (like myself) are on this site which is why I trust the opinions of the people on here.

Thanks for all of the great innovations and keep them coming!!

Yea this is by far the best site for any sport I've been on honestly. Not just from a fantasy tools perspective, not just from a dedicated and kick-ass staff, but to all the posters that give out great info. Plus there's no trolling or fighting or any of that crap. I sort of like it the way it is...it gets too big and it losses it's personal touch. Plus the more people sign on the more trolling you have. But I'm sure LWL wants to grow from a business sense and just from a stature point of view. More traffic = more revenue from ads. Plus anytime you throw your heart and soul into something obviously you want to be recognized...and they deserve it, IMO they do a better job covering hockey, compiling stats, tools and their own patented stuff (FSI rankings, etc...) than any of the "major" sites like ESPN, RotoWorld or RotoWire. Honestly if I was part of NHL.com I'd probably figure out a way to buy this site or merge it into their own. Like I said all the stats/tools on this site are unreal.

I agree 100%. Personally, I love the site but find telling fantasy friends about as counter-productive. They can get their "advice" from wherever they may, but I find the word "intelligence" a very wise choice in the title. My teams- with the advice from the users of this site- are in playoff positions, and 2/3 are in first. Unlike most sites, in which people try to create some form of competition between advice on the forums, that has been entirely avoided by the spirit and respect given to/from people on this site. Having used many other fantasy sport (not just hockey) sites over the years, I have found this one to be head and shoulders above the rest.

I totally agree with the comment made here that this site is "just the right size". I know its probably not an effective business model of long term growth, but personally I find the active posting members of this site contributing more than sites with tens of thousands of posting members. There is fantasy "advice"- then there is fantasy "intelligence". This site clearly distinguishes itself as the later. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but this is clearly a place where the average opinion is far above average.

And this is all discussing just the forums. Ha. Far from the sites best attributes. The player profiles I have found to be absolutely awesome. The thought of having consolidated information on nearly every NHL player from: ice time, player news, line combinations...just awesome to have. The player rater is virtually unparalleled in the fantasy hockey community (I understand its still a work in progress, but it's a very very good start).

In short, I found this site last year while searching for "Today's starting goalies" in Google. Spent most of last year solely looking up just the goalie page. Never really glanced at the rest of the site. This year, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon the rest of the site and have been very impressed.

I do have several ideas (derived from companies I have worked for) that could assist this site's growth (from a marketing perspective.) Mike/Patrick..or anyone else calling some shots here, feel free to email/message me a working email and I can pass the ideas on.

Cheers to the above. I do recommend this site to my poolies actually, if they don't listen it's their loss, and if they do, well at least I'm beating on real competition :)

You guys are absolutely correct. LWL has great stats , up to date info, actually real time breaking news. For example, the Camillari trade was covered here every step. My favorite is the open debate. Keep up the good work LWL . You guys are where I go to get the info first. Roto who!!!!!!!
