DiPietro left practice yesterday after being hit with a puck in his mask. He'll be reevaluated by doctors today.

Montoya gets another start, and Nabokov will make his NYI debut as the backup.

Now there's a big surprise... groan..... There's got to be a way for this guy to earn SOME of the money they pay him.... Stickboy????

This guy...I mean he MUST have done something wrong in the past because Karma's being a bi-ch to this guy..I mean everything is going wrong lol. I feel bad for him...I think last year his first game back from injury he got into a fight with Fluery and hurt his knee or something and missed the rest of the season...now he gets concussed in practice due to a puck off the head? The god(s) are NOT smiling down on this guy as they would say

Do players get paid when they are on IR? I know it doesn't count toward the salary cap but they must get something? As fragile as he is you would think he would be smarter in the few games he plays and not start fights with players like Brent Johnson who break his face with a single punch.

Unlike some other sports, the contracts in the NHL are guaranteed, so he gets paid, yes.

Whoa!! That is completely random, is this musical chairs on the island? One bad game for Montoya and they turf him?
