TJ Oshie or David Jones

Oshie is off to a slow start, but the Line Tracker shows Jones getting nice PP time and he did score 27 goals last year, but with a high % made. PPG's are always at a premium and he has 2 in his first 5 games...I usually always go for upside...I'm thinking Jones has more. He lit the lamp twice tonight with an assist...STL is 1/13 on the pp so far this year. BUT, does one big game mean more are down the line?

I'm feeling his +- will be better on COL as well. What say you?

This is tough. As a jones owner last year I can tell you the guy was frustrating to own - he was feast or famine. I think things might be slightly different this year because Colorado seems to actually have some chemistry offensively. I really like Oshie and I think he's surrounded by a ton of talent but like you said he's off to a slow start. I'd have to put a bit more time to research some of those other stats..and I need to see who jones/Oshie are skating with and on what PP unit. Right now though I'd lean towards jones as he's come out of the gates on fire. On that note what about nugent-Hopkins tonight with a hat trick and some of the Isles guys going off? I already had Moulson but I went ahead and picked up Parentu as well they are mad clicking right now!

Good call on Parentau. Jones does have the ability and a good situation to score 30...but I'll take a point per game instead. I picked him up...

Thanks I can't believe not only that he is only owned by 1% of all players, but that he got dropped in my league after 1 game. Good for me. I also picked up Hanzal on PHX because the dude gets mad ice time, hits and SOG..plus I like the line he skates on a great deal, he's surrounded by a LOT of talent. I already got Adam (BUF) and now I'm targeting Nugent-Hopkins not only because he is playing really well but because they also have a 4-game week next week. I ran out of transfers so I have to wait until 8pm when the first game starts until my transfers for the next scoring period kick in...so I'm praying that no one picks him up lol. Right now everyone in my league seems to be scampering to pick up guys for today's game to make up points in this scoring period so I'm hoping it either goes unnoticed or no one is focusing on him quite yet. Literally at 8:01 if he's available I'm all over that shiat lol

Someone picked up Jones, but I have a good feeling about Parentau. I used to stay away from Islandersw because of -20 +- years constantly because of bad goaltending, but that seems to have been shored up.
