Help me shore up my defence

I'm in a 14 team H2H league with standard scoring...my D is lacking to say the least...I have Liles, Zidlicky, Campbell and Bieksa...I'm stomaching Zidlicky and Campbell's minuses due to their being the PP QB for their respective teams, but I'm pretty sure I need to dump Bieksa...here's who's available:

Niskanen (PIT)
Kyle Quincey (COL)
Meszaros (PHI)

slim pickings in hindsight lol

any of them worth dropping Bieksa or no? Might need to trade a guy like Fleischmann or Pacioretty for a #2/3 guy

I dropped Meszaros from my initial drafted roster and regret it. I didn't think he'd be able to repeat since he was on the 3rd defense pairing but he has been putting up great numbers so far. Funny enough I actually dropped him for Bieksa (who I've since dropped as well). My recommendation is with him. Quincey is also on the Avs top PP unit and they have been putting up good numbers so far. I don't know much about Niskanen but the Pens are a good team every year so his +/- would likely be good.

I actually just picked up Quincey in my league, dropped Regehr to get him - but that's mostly because ice time, blocks, SOG and hits count in my league. He is having a great start in those categories, logging 22:18 ATOI, 1G/1A, 1 PPP, +1, 10 PIMs, 16 SOG, 9 hits, 9 blocks..that is pretty good for my 6th defender if you ask me. Since you use standard scoring though, and I assume that means ATOI, hits and blocks don't count..I would look at Niskanen I think he'd add more in terms of scoring potential. You don't have to worry about all these tertiary stats like I do. I don't see a lot of value in any of those guys over Bieksa quite frankly in standard scoring if you just means goals, assists..SOG, PIM I guess. I mean none of those guys have over 2 points yet I don't think - Bieksa is probably hurting you in +/- right now since he's -6..he is firing SOG at least..but I dunno, I guess honestly Nieskanen is the only guy in a standard format on that list I would replace him with, but I might wait just a bit. With Erhoff gone, it's Edler, Hamhuis and Bieksa as the top 3 defenders (I think). He might be able to step it up if Hamhuis can't product. Tough call honestly...

Salo might be your guy to get now, If he's going to see more PP time. But out of the ones you listed, I would go with Mez...
