Going into my second year of a ESPN keeper pool:
H2H 10 team league - 20 man Roster - 5 Keeper (1 Goalie Max)
Categories:
Players: G,A,P,+/-,PIM,PPP,SHP,GWG
Goales: W,SV,GAA,SV%,SO

Team
C-Malkin, Thornton, Statsny
RW-P Kane(C), Pavelski(C), Lupul(LW)*IR
LW-Nash(RW), Heatley(RW), Elias(C)
D-Keith, Ehrhoff, Streit, Pietrangelo, Giordano
G-Lunq, Bryz, Crawford

BN-Halvat(RW), Briere(C), Weiss(C), Hagelin(LW), McDonald(C/LW)*IR

At the moment I am going to keep:
Malkin, Lunq, P Kane, Thornton and one of Nash (if he gets traded) or Lupul... Or i could always leave the last keeper spot open.

Any help would be appreciated

With mostly scoring related categories, I'd keep Elias. He may be a bit old, but still has 70 points on the year, not to shabby for a 35 year old spending most of his time on the second line. He also gets PP time, and is part of a Devils team that has 4 players in the top 15 of SH points.

EDIT: He'll also be playing for a new contract next year, for what it's worth.

When do you have to decide by? I'd definitely be willing to take a risk on Nash even if he's still in Columbus based on what they do over the offseason.

I like your 4 guys - and the 5th guy you might want to consider is Statsny. This COL team is young and I think is only going to get better. I think there is more upside to his game than Lupul ( I like him as well, and I dropped him when he got injured), and Elias (again Elias is having a solid season, as noted above but do you not think you can wait?) Also of note I do like Nash as well - if he gets traded (as everyone seems to think he will) then that might be your decision for your - he goes to say the Rangers - I would keep him - if he goes to say Toronto - I would keep him - if he stays in Columbus - now you have a tough choice. Good Luck.

Yeah I am definitely going to put off the decision as long as possible! I am hoping Nash gets traded (to just about any other team really) and it will put my 5th slot to rest. Appreciate the insight on Statsny, he has had somewhat of an off season but has picked it up as of late. A healthy Duchene and Landeskog I completely understand where you are coming from. The only problem with that is he is another pure C - keeping 3 Cs kind of clogs up my forward positions.
