Expectations for Fowler

How do you guys see Fowler doing this year? Just got him in a trade. Will he have a sophomore slump? Should I try to move him to someone else?

Well he's not having a good start especially since you don't count ice time, hits and blocks (which he's doing very well in). With that said, I think the guy breaks out at some point. He was a 40 point scorer last year (10G/30A) though he was a NASTY -25 (argh). That's where you might get killed if that happens again. Don't know where he fits in on the PP unit on that team either, but I like the guy, I think he has a lot of upside, is on a good team surrounded by a ton of talent, and hell it's only 6 games into the season he has plenty of time to get going. Who did you give up to get him out of curiosity? And who would you look to get if you traded him right away?

I think what's intriguing right now is Franson. The guy didn't even play the first 3 games and now seems to have found his niche in Toronto especially since they are experimenting using him on the first PP unit with Liles moving over to the left and Franson running the point. He's actually a free agent in my league right now...I don't have roster space, but if he does have a break out game here in the next few days I might need to find space lol.
