hi,
G, A, PIM, PPP, SOG for forwards.
10 team H2H league.
Someone in our league just dropped Mikko Koivu. Should I use waiver on him? I would drop Whitney. or dropping Garon?
my team:
C: Roy, Prospal
LW: Marleau, Nash, Reimsdyk
RW: St.Louis, Hossa, Selanne, Gaborik
D: Letang, Wiesnewski, Streit
G: Lundgvist, Brodeur, Crawford, Garon
tnx in advance.

I wouldn't drop either Whitney or Garon rigt now personally. It looks like Garon is taking the starting job from Role in Tampa, or at least making a very strong case to take it. So in that situation you'd have 4 starting goalies - if you don't need 4 starters then you should be able to use 1 as trade bait to get a really good skater, someone better than Koivu.
I also would be very hesitant to drop Whitney. he's only projected to be out for 1-2 weeks and he's an elite blue liner no questions asked. Sure he hadn't done anything in 4 games but the guy was out for almost a year, it'll come back to him and once it does he's gonna be racking up points and a great PM etc...
I like your team but I think you can improve at the center position and that's maybe where I'd think of Garon/Brodeur straight up for a great center or package one of them with say Roy and ask for a SUPER STUD in return. I don't know how much goalie impact your total score (like how many goalie categories they are) but the fact taht you have 4 starters is pretty huge if you ask me. You are set at LW, RW, D...don't drop Whitney lol. I mean Koivu is a great player he had something like 20 goals and 40+ assists last year - he is a center, but is that a big upgrade over Roy or Prospal? I'm not sure it is..I think you can leverage one of yoru goalies + Roy let's say for a top notch super stud center. I think if I were to drop anyone to grab Koivu on your roster it would be JVR but that's just me.
