What do you guys think of Landeskog? I'm thinking of dropping Ruutu for him. Who would you rather have?

Stats includes hits as well.

I think I would rather have Landeskog - Ruutu is very streaky, he's certainly capable of putting up points but his +/- is also pretty bad if you count that.

So far this year:
Ruutu: 3G/2A, -4, 6 PIM, 1 PPP, 0 SHP, 15:43 ATOI, 13 SOG, 16 Hits, 5 blocks
Landeskog: 4G/2A, +2, 2 PIM, 1 PPP, 0 SHP, 16:51 ATOI, 36 SOG, 23 Hits, 5 blocks

So yea, I like Landeskog better personally. Plus he's on a line with Winnik and O'Reilly who have been producing really well so far (and don't forget he's on the ice with Quincey and Johnson or Hejda - good defenders back there.

Ruutu is on the ice with Staal and Ponikarovsky which hey that's a good line don't get me wrong but they get scored on all the time. He is on the 2nd PP unit with LaRose and Ponikarovsky as well.

It's tough, Ruutu can have weeks where he plays insane and puts up amazing numbers and then he goes AWOL for 2 weeks. I like what I've seen out of the Avs so far this year and I like Landeskog personally. All his stats just look better so far this year -granted its a small sample size but that's just my opinion.
He doesn't get much PP time that is the one drawback on him.

Go for the rookie, especially since hits are included.

I'll preface my response by noting I'm a huge Hurricanes fan but, as unbiased as I can be, I would say you should absolutely go with Ruutu here. Even good rookies are extremely streaky. Landeskog has some talent around him but I don't see Winnik and O'Rielly has anything near top-tier talent.

Someone mentioned Ruutu is with Staal and Poni. That's not the case anymore. Ruutu is back with Skinner and Jokinen which was a very effective line last year. In a one-year format given the specifications your league has, these two players are quite even but Ruutu will end up with more hits (he was 2nd in the league last year) and I'll trust the player with more experience and better linemates.
