Looking for online league

I don't know if any of you remember Small World fantasy, but I'm looking for an NHL fantasy league to join that has a similar rule set. You start the season with $50 million dollars in cap space and have to draft players accordingly. You are then given 5 new trades per week to adjust your roster. Does anyone know of any on going sites / drafts that run something like this? Sporting News had something similar, but it appears that they've dropped the NHL fantasy draft altogether.

Never heard of it. ESPN, Yahoo and NHL are all the fantasy hockey you should ever need.

I remember this; one of the first hockey leagues I joined was through them. I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with a current system like that one.

Ditto, I remember Small World, and I know none that are the same. There are the public general fantasy games from CBC and Sportsnet, but it's a cap limit where you choose your players per week, so there is no draft system and it's competing against everyone else registered in the game.

facebook is running what was, last year, Rotohog basic and premiere salary cap games. Before it was Rotohog, it was the salary cap game on The Sporting News, which bought out Small World in the early 2000's, and TSN had run the game since, again, until last year.

So yeah, the game you're looking for is on facebook.com. You might find it by looking up Fastpoint fantasy games on facebook. I have a league there called Basic No Trades 2011. I'm in another league on Fantrax, the members of which used to play at TSN, and some of them probably played at Small World. I'll post on the league forum to see if the commissioner is okay with an invitation.
