Mason or Theodore?

In a keeper league, drafted Mason, hoping it would pan out. Theodore is available, and its a sad day when he is looking attractive, but there you go. FLA is #2 in a soft SE div, but they are looking to do better (marginally) than CBS.

Think Ive pretty much made up my mind, but any thoughts?

Your situation might become clear rather soon. Clemmensen has been practicing and is due to return. Florida is going to have to make a move here soon with three goalies on the roster. Markstrom needs ice time to develop. I would think if he stays with the Panthers, then Theodore will get fewer starts than expected.

I agree with Mike.. Theodore will be the starter either way.. but if Markstrom stays.. Florida will play him.. expect Markstrom to get 25 starts at least. He is the future.

But on the other hand.. and in my opinion is more likely.. they could send Markstrom down to the AHL.. like LA did with Bernier.. and let him develope there. He will definitely be a great addition for anyone's fantasy team next year (injuries not withstanding). That is a guarantee.

Is Theodore the #1. I'm looking for a #1 but can't find one on our wire. Even a #2 who would get a start a week, is Clemmensen that type of #2?

They are probably going to want to see how Clem plays, and history should tell us that Theodore takes frequent breaks. He has only played more than 50 games a season twice in the past 5 years (53 and 57).
