Wanted to start with a low-ball-ish (kinda) offer to a guy whose team was on auto-pick for the draft....he's already offered me Callahan and Keith for M. Richards and Zidlicky which I declined...this guy is super weak at center (Filppula, O'Reilly, Peverley) and needs to pick someone up to fill that short-coming...I am absolutely in love with Mike Richards - him and Toews are my favourite guys in the NHL and I have high hopes for him this season - but I am not deep at LW and wouldn't mind upgrading there (my eligible centers would be Backstrom, Backes and Roy if I traded Richards)

Give
M. Richards
Pacioretty (11gp, 4g, 5a, 41 sog)
Zidlicky

Get
Nash (LW,RW)
Keith (I'm aware he's injured but I'm trying to position my team for the long-run)

If he declines this are we okay with offering Chris Stewart in Pacioretty's place? He's obviously had a shit start but expectations were high coming into the season (and he's getting shots). I wouldn't mind getting rid of James Neal now, but Richards/Neal/Zidlicky would be too much to give up for those 2 guys, imo

Also debating this one (since I feel I need to shore up my tending). I'm a bittttt more hesitant with this one since Halak is basically at a nut-low value-wise at the moment and Ryan doesn't play PP1 in Anaheim b/c Selanne is a freak of nature.

Give
M. Richards
Pacioretty
Halak

Get
B. Ryan (LW)
Crawford (CHI)

Hmm... Offer #1 I think is fine but I would obviously try to push it thru with Pacioretty vs Stewart. Though Nash and Duncan are more valuable than anyone you are giving up IMO so I guess it'll be a gut call on your end. He might feel like he's getting low balled if you offer Zidlicky, Pacioretty and Richards and then possibly not even want to deal. It's a tough call

Offer #2 - Personally I think I like that one better because Ryan might be at his "lowest" point in terms of selling so he might be more open to moving him vs Nash. Plus you are getting a better starting goalie in Crawford. I know the Halak issue is tough because history suggests that he should pick his play up and he could return to form. But I still think acquiring Ryan is great. It's tough though in all honesty...you are giving up Richards in both deals and Pacioretty who's having a good start to the season himself. But that might be the only way to get him to part with either Nash or Ryan

B. Ryan/Crawford deal got snap-rejected...I assume it's b/c Montoya and Kipper were his other keepers so he wanted that steady #1...prolly gunna see if I can target another team that lacks C and/or LW and has 2 decent tenders

The Nash/Keith for M. Richards/Pacioretty/Zidlicky deal...do we favour Liles or B Campbell more...I could offer the one we like less...Liles is on PP1 in Toronto and has a bunch of assists so far but Campbell is the PP QB in FLA and their go-to D-man (11 assists so far I believe)...I personally think Campbell > Liles, although Liles has 20 shots while Campbell only 13

I would love to pick up Keith....would put my Top 3 D at Ryan Whitney, Keith, Liles/Campbell (when healthy)

RW - Stewart
D - Whitney
D - Keith
