Segin & E Stall for Getzlaf & Backes

Need a little advice - I have been offered this - What do you think?
I have Segin and Stall the other guy really wants Segin.
I am thinking that Segin is good now - but I am sure he will trail off.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Who? I'm aware of Tyler Seguin and Eric Staal, but not of "Segin and Stall".
If your league has penalty minutes, then run, make this trade now.
Getzlaf will score a bucket of points and he'll add PIMs as well, plus Backes is an useful all-around player who will add decent points and PIMs. Staal will score about the same number of points as Getzlaf but not with the PIMs, while Seguin is young and I do not believe he'll be worth more than Backes in the long run this season.

Yea I agree with pb, I think points could be similar between the two groups but Getz and backes will get u more in all cats.

What are your scoring categories?

I totally agree with everything pb360 said and I would also add that Staal hurts your PM significantly, Getzlaf is laying out hits to go along with everything pb360 said and Backes is a multi-category stud as well. But I don't know if you count hits or blocks or ATOI.

Basic cats - G, A, P, +/-, PIM. PPP, SHP, SOG - for the offence. I need all the help i can get up front right now - waiting for carter to come back, and Stamkos to really light it up. just picked up connelly, and have lupal as well - so I think this will work.

Another consideration - are you in a real need for goals or just want as many points as you can? The reason why is that I believe Staal and Seguin would score more goals, but Getzlaf/Backes will give you more in most other categories (assists, +/-, PIM in particular).

I want to win the H2H week - so if I happen to lose in the goals cat for that week - I am okay if I can get the Assists, PIM, SOG, and the +/-, I am getting killed in that area right now. Also with having Stamkos and Jeff Carter (once he comes back) I think I should be okay with goals. So if I can win the week with all the other cats then I am happy. I mean I want to win every Cat but am willing to sacrafice one for 3, or 4.
