Phaneuf for Green

I give up Dion and get Green. Is this worth doing, how bad is the injury?

I don't know about this one, I understand the sell high buy low philosophy behind this trade BUT Green wasn't worth much last year and I don't think this is just a fluke for Dion. Sure Dion will probably slow a little, but I think he's in for a much better season than recent years. Goals and assists weigh equally in your format, so I just don't know if I'd do this one.

I feel much the same way, I had green last year (traded him for thomas early in the season, that worked out well...) and I was nothing but frustrated, especially with his injury issues. He also offered me Boyle for Green, but I feel Boyle is going to pick it up soon.

i think green is more valuable than Phaneuf, I dont' think he is going to keep this up, i sold phaneuf for a good price this year and i think everyone who owns him should, because he isnt going to keep this up. Green to me as a lot of upside , so id do the deal personally

I personally would keep Dion - and I'm a Sens fan haha I think he's really re-discovering what made him an all-world d-man early in his career in Calgary
