Subban was just dropped in my league fro Kulikov whose been an assist machine for the panthers this season. Can any Habs fans give me some in sight on how Subban has been playing this season and if you think hes gonna start picking up his play soon because as of right now he has 0G and 4A through 15 games.

He's been pretty bad up until the last two games. He only has one point in those two games. He played almost every shift vs the Oilers kid line, and none of them registered a point or more than one shot. Last night he was +3. He has 7 shots in those two games. He seems to be turning the corner in the defensive end, and this will almost certainly lead to him getting back his complete game. I think he was dropped just a little to early and you should grab him up while you can.

Not a Habs fan per say, but I am a Subban owner.

To me it seems like a carbon copy of last year's start. If you remember he was actually a healthy scratch on a few occassions early on because he wasn't playing well and the coach wanted to light a fire under his ass. I say grab him, he seems to be turning things around and once he does, not only does he help in PIMs but he should start scoring as well. I like the guy, wish I could grab him lol

I drafted him as my 2nd starting D-Man in our 12 team league (can start up to 4 D-men a night). Along with you, very frustrated, and to be honest, I was oh-so-close to whacking him. Then he picked up his assists and finally got his 1st goal of the year vs. the Canes. I'll give him another week or 2, hoping he produces more. If not, there are some other young D-men on the FA list.

As someone who watch every Habs game, I can tell you that a large part of his lack of production is because he's been trying to "swing for the fences" so to speak on every shot opportunity. That strategy has thus far led to a lot of blocked shots and missed nets.

Finally in the game against Carolina he figured out that hitting the net with a medium velocity shot is a better option then always looking for the 100 MPH rocket that ends up going wide. Look for his production to increase going forward.

Well I finally did it, I whacked him for Flyers D-man Andrej Meszaros who had a good game for me today vs. the Rangers. Subban is just too cold a fish for me now, yeah - he's good for PIM, but that's about it. Anyone else pulling the plug on him lately ?

<---- Can finally breathe again after removing foot from mouth.

I actually picked him back up this week, because of favorable matchups, and he's got an assist in 3 games in a row. Watched his last 2 games in their entirety. He had a bone-head penalty vs. the Canes that led to a PPG for them, but made it up vs. the Bruins tonight - he played quite well. Now P.K. about time for another goal or 2 ? Else I will bash you on LeftWingLock in the near future.

2 PPG in last 3 games, I'm digging him now, especially since I lost Pens Letang last night . Keep it up kid

This sounds EXACTLY like Dion Phaneuf when he first came to the Leafs. All the hype about his offensive power he was bringing I'm sure made him feel like he had to display his power on ever shot. Probably had just as many shots miss the net as he had hit the net/goalie, etc.
