View Full Version : Chris Stewart and Michal Neuvirth for Kipper
What do you think about this? This guy needs an upgrade in net - and is offering Stewart and Neurvirth for Kipper.
I still have Rinne, Price, Harding, and Backstrom. I do need some help with scoring - is this a good deal or not?

With your goaltending situation I would say yes, this is a good deal. You might try to counter though, if he offered you this trade than see if you can do a little better. Stewart will get better. Neuvy is nowhere near as valuable as Kipper, but he'll still be a viable option when he gets starts.
I went back to him - he came back with Krejci straight up for Kipper. What do you think about that deal?

I dont think you need Kipper at all, so I would.

You can probably get along fine with Rinne, Price, Backstrom. What is available on waivers/free agency for you to pick up as far as scoring goes?

I am cool with trade #1 for 2 main reasons: you are getting Neuvy in return and Stewart IS going to get better.
I don't see Krejci straight up as being a substantially better trade than Stewart + Neuvy. I would do trade #1 personally or ask for Krejci + Neuvy. Kippur is a legit #1 and a good one at that. As such I think you should get more than a guy that currently has 3 goals and 5 assists.
I ended up with Krecji and Neuvirth for Kipper. I hope Krecji and the Bruins stay hot - I was also thinking that Washington is so streaky that I might be able to get Neuvirth on a hot streak and ride him for a few starts....Let see..
Thanks for the help.

I like this trade-- Kipper is a legit #1 playing well but you don't need him and turned that into a solid offensive guy
