So any idea what happened to him tonight? I just saw that he only skated for 6 minutes.
Broken thumb - he will miss four weeks.

I have Goose in my Yahoo 12 team H2H league. I have Souray, Gonchar, and Edler as my four D. Would you wait until he goes on the IR or drop him for any available D. Therse are the other D's available: Kaberle, Hedman (DTD) Zidlicky, Timonen, McBain, Carle, Robidas. My gut feeling is to ride it out and see if he goes on the IR. If I drop him someone may pick him up right away. Any thoughts??

He should go on the IR I'd think if he's definitely out 4 weeks.
You have some good defenders on your wire. What are your scoring categories? I for one really like Robidas on that list if you include things like hits, blocks and ATOI. Plus with Goligoski out, he should be seeing even more time than he has (I think he's been seeing around 22 minutes a night as is). Heck he might even get bumped up to the top PP unit because he has been producing lately. I am sort of kicking myself personally for dropping him, but then again I did grab Quincey so I guess all-in-all it worked out.
I don't think I'd drop Goligosky quite yet though. I don't know the rules of placing a guy on IR or anything but I'd think that announcement would come fairly soon and then you can figure out which guy to grab. But we need to knwo your scoring categories to help a bit more in terms of whom to target. I also really like Timmonen on that list.

I have Goligoski myself, I'm going to wait it out and hope he goes on IR. None of my Defense is impressive except Edler and I really don't want to drop Goligoski just in case someone else grabs him.
If you were to drop him, I'd probably take Timonen, I have a similar FA like you (without Timonen though). If I were you ride it out and hope he goes IR. None of those FA's are that impressive either.
IMO: Keep Goligoski

what do you guys think of picking up daley? using the line combo's tool, it seems like he gets 1st d pairing minutes, as well as good amounts of pp time. especially with goligoski out, do you think it's worth giving him a shot?
other available d are: kaberle, pitkanen, clitsome, seidenberg
(i wouldn't have to drop a d, i've been running a few d short and been shuffling in forwards, but i'm not going to have enough time to manage my lineup daily in the next couple weeks, and would like to have a full roster for that time)
