God do I wish I traded him off weeks ago. He overplays everything and his team does not help him one bit. Do I drop this guy, trade him for later picks, or wait it out? He has become a complete nonstart at this point.

I'm dealing with the same question .. he has no trade value. I won't be starting him until he strings together some positive streak. tempted to drop him. if I see a good fa out there (g or otherwise) I might do it. but he has the potential to do better. confidence might become his downfall if it doesn't chqnge soon. jsg could take the job too

Colorado is weak defensively... and any goalie would have troubles there. You won't see Giguere take the starting job.. that has been proven already this year with his weak play against sub par teams. Varly will get better.. with time. This won't be a career year for him.. but I think he can put up decent numbers. Especially if Colorado finds some defense to back him up.

I feel the frustration.. especially since he's my only true #1 goalie I have. Haha!

I dropped Varly for Giguere today... Giguere has had decent save % in all his games and has had a couple of great starts recently. Varly is Swiss cheese. We'll just have to see how this works out.
