No matter what happens, it’ll be a divided locker-room. and divided locker-rooms don’t win championships.

This is some intense research. Is this your only job? You should be getting payed a lot more if so. Send this over to the Devils locker room.

You should also consider how NJ records shots. There is a known bias that the shot counter in NJ records far fewer shots than any other arena. You can see evidence here: http://www.puckprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=351. Brodeur’s actual save percentage is like 1 or 2% higher than suggested.

I think this weeks unsustainable post indicated that Schneider has been very lucky this season (high asv). Wouldn’t that straighten out (I.e. He regresses) once he plays more meaning this projection might asymptote slightly once his asv regresses. I think the Devils will be better with him over Brodeur but I wonder if the difference will be slightly smaller once this ‘luck’ has been accounted for.

Great post though interesting stuff. Best thing for the devils is for Brodeur to get injured for a few weeks to cement Schneider’s starting job.

Where does Cory Schneider play his home games?
