I liked the dynamic we had, and wouldn't mind expanding to a 14-16 team league. It's nice playing with people who know what they're doing.

Well, I clearly chose wrong. Reasoning was sound, but Columbus was not as good as I expected.
I'd go Lehner. Scores might be similar, but STL hardly gives up any shots, so their goalies have been suffering in the sv% category.
Ok, well that does help a bit. So now I'm thinking play the matchup and hope for a low scoring STL/MIN game.
You should really thank Fleury for getting injured. ;)
I'll go ahead and thank Pavelski this week for waking up. Did nothing for a month and change, and now has a 4-game goal streak.
Looks like all 4 of my goalies may get a start tonight. Here's the rundown. Lots of different options, what would you do?
Lundqvist vs WPG
Backstrom vs STL
Halak vs MIN
Emery vs NSH
So many...
Evander Kane...for taking 10 shots on Sunday alone and being credited this morning with a mid-week hit to give me a 2-point win. Shots were even Sunday morning, and hits were even until this morning.
Your skaters are blocking more shots than your goalies so far. :-D
I think I'm going to sit Scrivens. Even if TOR wins, I think Philly will put up some goals. The leafs have a couple more games yet this week (though Reimer may be back for one) so there are other...
I'd say no. In a compressed season, almost everyone is in a time share. Based on the teams, Fasth is probably the best option, but I wouldn't take him over Luongo.
Scrivens is coming off b2b shutouts, and oviously playing well. I'm not sure I like the matchup though, especially not coming on the second night of a b2b.
Would you start him?
Yeah, it's not often you end up +25 in a week and lose that category. I'll take the first week, feeling pretty decent about my team. Hard to get a read on some cats though.
I'm not sure I'll need that much help  ;)
But I recognized a need for another pure Center pretty quick after "trading" Backstrom during the draft.
You have a couple Scrooges as well...so they'll be up against friends! Guess a couple shutouts couldn't hurt. ;)
That was some college hockey goodness (or badness)! The University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks video intro. As you can see it is an epic work of art. ;) Excellent work UKRob!
For my final pick Oshied will take Brandon Dubinsky - C/LW, CBJ
Totally agree, saw some KHL hockey on ESPN2 yesterday. That's gotta be a big dig at the NHL considering ESPN hasn't run pro hockey since 04.
Oshied confirms
Sorry for the wait on this pick, potential trade in the works. Should know shortly.
Oshied takes Oliver Ekman-Larsson - D, PHO
Here's what I'm looking at with just a few to go:
C: Backstrom, Pavelski (RW), Duchene (LW), Zajac
RW: Gaborik, Simmonds, Semin (LW)
LW: Parise, E. Kane, Pacioretty
D: Karlsson, Del Zotto,...
Oshied will roll the dice on Alex Semin - RW/LW, CAR in the hopes that he clicks in his new home.
Oshied takes Travis Zajac - C, NJD
Oshied will take Tyler Myers - D, BUF
Sorry for the wait, Oshied selects Ian White - D, DET
