Tough call in net tonight.

I have Quick, Montoya, and Miller.

I think Miller is an easy call, but I'm really hesitant to start quick against Boston.

Montreal seems less likely to light anyone up for 5 or 6 goals making MOntoya the safer start.

Thoughts?

If carey price starts, i wouldnt start montoya. If rask starts for boston, i would try quick. otherwise, i would only start miller.

I would go Quick and Miller, go with your studs.

Quick & Miller...even though I may start Rask...just very limited faith in Montoya...

Thanks guys, I generally agree with the Always Start Your Studs model, but Boston has been so dominant and LA so frustrating that I wasn't sure. I'll gamble with you though, Quick and Miller it is.

I don't know if this helps much but boston has Chara listed as doubtful for tonight. So that is a small notch in favor of quick.

I always go with my studs-- I only consider matchups or alternatives if I see the goalies as generally equivalent of when I have particular category needs late in the week

Quicks numbers have been very good. I know LA has struggled and the probability of a win is probably less than 50% BUT Quick could get a very good sv% and high saves-- On the flip side there is the "they are due" mentatlity which could see LA whip boston-- The Bruins are good but no team maintains the pace they have lately-- LA is good and bound to break out
