what do you guys think! 6 players diagnosed within a week out with conussions within a few days
pitakanen, skinner,michalek,grioux,pronger, and crosby again.
this is riduculous!!
what do you guys think skinners impact wil be all around plus fantasy managers who own him? also wiht giroux and pronger?
is this more precautionary or serious concussions?

It's a shame, but glad to see the NHL is taking them seriously. They are no joke. I know it takes away from the game we have grown to love, but it's a necessary evil to keep these players out until they are 100%.
I think that that list has always been that long, the only difference today, is that in the past the team might have not had it diagnosed correctly or they just called it an "upper body injury". (we did not know what they were suffering from before, and how many came back too early?) I do think that it is much better now to know exactly what players are suffering from in order to have them treated correctly. The last thing we, as fans, want is for someone to come back early and their life is affected negatively becasue of it. It is just too bad that there are sooooo many out right now. I wish them all the best, thats for sure....

Isn't it ironic . Giroux ducked under elbow thrown by Malkin and was kneed in head by teammate the next game.
