mbr311....when Roy is not w/ Stafford + Gerbe, he does a lot better. When put on Pommy's line, his #'s are so much better as in the case the other night vs. the Isles. If Ruff keeps him with Pommy, he'll be good down the stretch but unfortunately it's a game of "balancing" to Ruff and he can't put too much talent on 1 line.

Man...I think this was the excuse Jersey needed to put together one of the top lines in the NHL. Honestly I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier, but I guess with the way Henrique was playing at the time, they were better suited to break up their lines.

Now since Henrique's injury, we're seeing a top line of Elias-Kovy-Parise and Henrique on the 3rd line (ugh) with Ponikarovsky and Bernier. I don't know if they're just letting him get his game legs back under him but that is going to seriously put a dent in his value. I see on ESPN at least, the garage sale has already started to his ownership dropping over 40%...which to me is NUTS. He's statistically the #4 rated center in my league. But I guess if he isn't scoring then in most leagues that's a big problem so I understand. I hope at least they have him center the Clarkson/Skykora or Clarkson/Zubrus maybe? That would be a hell of a lot better.

I find it hard to believe Jersey will break up the Kovy-Elias-Parise line since they are on fire right now. Like I said, sometimes its just bum luck. The guy sits out for 4 days and they are forced into playing that line and bam, they do what everyone thought they could. It's hard I imagne for Kovy to play that 2nd line w/out Zajac or Henrique with him, but he was still scoring on that line. Now he's blowing up.

I guess maybe Zajac will come back at some point and he and Henrique could mesh like this? one can only hope

That's what I'm seeing. The last 2 games he's been seeing more and more time on the top line and surprise, he's scoring again

ESPN is reporting that he's back on the top line as well. My guess is he'll mainly stay on the top line but they might mix in Kovy from time to time and push Henrique down - they'd be stupid not to IMO. But seeing his position solidified again, couldn't be happier. I have NO FRIGGIN' idea why over 50% of his owners dropped him in ESPN leagues but it's humorous watching everyone scrambling to get him again. I think overnight his ownership jumped 20% lol.

But yea, he's back for sure and I'm counting on him to produce on that top line like he was before.
