I'm not gonna make a rash decision and drop him b/c he's missed 2 games. Granted my roster is big enough to absorb this...should he go on IR (god I hope not) i could slide him in easily. He's just too valuable to drop at this time. My major concern is when a guy misses an extended period, they start to reshuffle lines and now I'm concerned he might not get put back on the top line which would really impact his value.

I wish they would put him on IR if he is not going to play. He is killing me right now.

Dammit ESPn didn't update Henrique until right before game time...and he's gonna play lol. Didn't have enough time to active him and get him into my lineup. Probably for the best, with a tricky groin injury if something happened and he only played 10 minutes that could kill me.

Now I'm trying to figure out whom to drop to activate him. Looks like either Brouwer, Roy, Brassard..hmm not really sure since Brouwer really helps in ATOI and hits...categories I need his type of production in. Part of me wants to drop Roy since he is basically worthless right now - if he's not scoring he does nothing else. But I can't bring myself to dump him, if he gets on a hot streak I mean boom he could take off lol. Any suggestions?

This is a tough one - I also have Brouwer and was agonizing over whether or not to drop him when I reactivate Henrique. I like him for the same reasons: he gets Hits and a fair amount of PiMs. Brassard has picked it up lately, and has better numbers in the last 15 games or so, but Columbus is still a train wreck. Roy has been awful but certainly has the potential. When you look at the 2 guys, Roy gets you more ATOI and Shots, but Brassard gets you more Hits and PPP. Roy has also been listed in some trade rumors apparently, but who knows for sure. And how does Jeff Carter's return impact Brassard? Or, if Carter gets traded away, does that help Brassard?

I offered you nothing, did I? lol It's a tough spot; I might just ask myself which player has annoyed me more up to this point, and I'd probably dump Roy

And to add to the confusion that I have over Henrique's return, I also have Kovalchuk, who, in the past 4 games, has 3 goals, 7 assists and is a +7. Does anyone see a pattern here, since 3 of those games were the games that Henrique didn't play? And really you could throw in the 4th game today, since Henrique played 15 minutes and had only 1 shot. Is Kovalchuk better the last few games with Henrique out of the lineup because they were forced to switch the lines around, or is it just coincidental?

I doubt its coincidental with Kovy. I mean he's a better player first and foremost...and Henrique is on the better line. If it was Parise-Kovy-Elias I mean wow that might be the top line in the NHL potentially. They have to split it up and unfortunately for Kovy he got put on the 2nd line. So as good as he is and as productive as he is, yea with Henrique in the lineup and centering that first line, Kovy's numbers have a ceiling that wouldn't be there if he played on that top line. If it wasn't for Henrique, I'd say Kovy would be top 10 in his position under the ESPN rating system at least.

I ended up dropping Brouwer. It was pretty much between him and Roy and I just can't force myself to do it lol. Brassard is sort of like Brouwer in that he gets his but he is scoring right now on the Nash-Umberger line so that gives him a slight edge. Roy...I should drop him and move on, I just can't do it. I cut ties with Prospal, but Roy is my kryptonite right now. I can't cut him, I keep thinking its just a matter of time before he gets his as* into the game and becomes productive.
