    Parise/Hemsky for P.Kane/Boyle

I was offered this trade (I have the Parise side). Should I take it? Cats are g,a,p,ppp, shp, gwg, pims and +/-.

Yes Yes Yes and Yes..I'd pull that in a second. Boyle mad ice time, mad PP points, plays for a really really good SJ team..Kane on a sick line in Chicago...both guys you are being offered are better than the two you are giving up. Do it before he reconsiders!

Wait for one or two other people to respond first though, just want to make sure others agree with me

I'm with MBR. Hemsky is a serious injury risk too, and plays on a terrible Edmonton team. Your +/- would benefit greatly as well. Do it now!!

So did the trade go through? I hope no one in your league vetoed it..I hate it when people do that crap. I am all for letting any trade go through unless you can prove collusion. Hope it worked out because you should highly benefit from it!

It's Yahoo, so it'll hopefully go through at around 3 AM.

I gotta ask though, why are you all so sure that the Kane side is better? Parise is awesome and Hemsky, although VERY injury prone can be a ppg player?

how do you quantify that Parise is "awesome" first and foremost, and Hemsky is a really good player no doubt but statistically doesn't measure up.

Just Boyle alone vs. those two guys - he gets better ice time, he gets better +/-, he gets more PPPs, and I would argue probably more assists.

kane the same - Parise is good I'm not denying it but statistically he is getting the better player in both situations no matter how you compare them. Parise's numbers are of course a bit stunted because he was injured for so long last season and maybe he has a better season than Kane this year, but Boyle is pretty much a #1 defender across the board there can be no disputing that whatsoever..that in itself is a vast improvement. Just my .02 though, I guess we'll see how it plays out.
