    Drop/Add Goaltender

As you can see, I have Rinne, Rask and Backstrom.

Minnesota is falling apart, and Deus ex machina only occurs in bad fiction. Seriously, there's no end in sight to their troubles.

Available are Martin Brodeur, Hedberg, Harding, Giguere, Emery. Brodeur has the worst numbers of any of the 8 (2.82; .895; 0 ShO)

    Thoughts?
"Hey hey, my my, rock and roll can never die."

I just can't recommend Marty. When he was in Calgary I saw two of the weakest goals i have ever seen a single NHL goalie surrender in a game. Combine that with his numbers and his age and I find it tough to roll with Marty

I don't know that there is anyone I love on that list over Backstrom . But with you not having saves as a category I could see a temptation toward even a solid backup on a winning team

Don't take emery. Coach quinville has a hard on for never giving a goalie a break. Almost every one of emerys starts cAme during a 2-3 week period following Crawford playing so incredibly poorly i thought Huet or Turco came back. Emery won't start more than 5 or 6 games all year. Do NOT take him unless he's traded

I would keep the 3 you have over any of those. Maybe broduer, but backstrom will be back soon. I'd wait this out

I've had Marty almost all season and I FINALLY had it in me to drop him the other day for Bobrovsky. How has that panned out for me so far, you ask ? Marty gets the Win last night letting in only 1. (and Bryzzy got the start last night for PHI for his 2nd straight start despite not looking too sharp his last time out). Goes to show that the high-prized goalies still will start the majority of games even if their back-up is a lot better. Maybe Elliot in St. Louis is the only exception.....

    1. You KNOW you cannot determine your decisions based on 1 night-- Hell last week Craig Anderson kicked Lundqvists stats for the WHOLE WEEK

    2. Elliot is not really much of an exception. he played steady when Halak stunk but they quickly moved it back to 50/50 when Halak showed he was better and now with Halak playing excellent I really see Elliot getting one game in three on average
