Schneider is an RFA after the season, and the 'Nucks have $56M tied up already for next year, with anywhere from 6-10 spots to fill. I don't think they'll be re-signing a potential #1 free agent goalie... In all likelihood, he gets A) traded before this year's trade deadline or B) re-signed, plays 1/3 of the season next year and gets traded. Either way, at this point next year, there's almost no chance Schneider is in a Canucks uniform. The only way that happens is if Bobby Lou is gone, which is going to be tough seeing he's 32 years old with an annual cap hit of $5.3M for the next 10 years.
