I like hits as adding complexity. Different types of players excell there. The best scorers already are valued high in G A and PPP and to me Points just makes the same core guys even more valuable than anybody else. It makes for less strategy. More "peripherals" means you can make strategic decisions to emphasize one or more of them (one year I completely ignored plus minus as an example).

I respect there are different opinions (I preferred even larger roseters, more IR than is likely and more transactions) but ultimately if the Hits vote stands up, I hope you can have a little fun with it even if its not your preference.
Well it's not like this is a money league so I'll play either way ! Just figured id speak my peace.

As commish of my money league with my friends, its probably good for me to learn more about other stat categories we don't use.

Looks like the ten forward stats have been decided: goals, assists, power play points, plus-minus, hits, shots, face-off wins, blocks, short-handed points, penalty minutes.

Nice to see we are getting things finalized. I am liking how this league shapes up. Have we decided if this is keeper or not?

I'm pretty sure we decided it wasn't going to be a keeper.
