    Luongo

Why is he not playing tonight? It's not a back to back situation, I'm losing respect for this guy, I know ultimately it's not his choice but if he were a real winner he'd beg for this start. Slay the demon, prove yourself.. sheesh

Probably just a scheduled start for Schneider, I wouldn't worry, same thing for Lundy not playing tonight.

So complaining to your coach makes you a real winner? Real winning goalies are the ones that understand the situation and don't complain about it.

I don't think it's his choice at all until the coach let's him make his choice

Luongo isn't a winner. Never has been. Remember when he was up 3-0 against the hawks, started talking out his ass and next thing he knew it was 3-3??? Dudes a head case that need to learn to keep his mouth shut. Why start him vs the hawks??? He can't beat him we all know that

he did win so I would admit that he did wound that particular dragon but the manner of the victory means the fatality was uncertain-- The bigger "dragon" the question of Luongo's "clutch play" remains an open question-- Hell last year he almost won a cup and still hadn't demonstrated clutch ability.

here I would expect that Luongo as a competitor would want this start but I could understand trhe Canucks not giving it to him. If Luongo got shelled it would be the "demon" again. If he shut them out in a stellar performance, most would dismiss it as a meaningless regular season game.

Its probably better for the team to start Schneider and worry about Chicago demons in the playoffs.

Lou didn't play that well in Olympics.

I said it back when they played Boston. The coach doesn't have confidence in him as big time goalie. He's a headcase. Philly made the same mistake. They gave a headcase a big longterm contract. It could be worse we could have Rick DiPietro.
