It's Buy one get one half off type of deal for an extra draft kit. I'm not sure if that is still going on though, ask Mike.

That would still be a great deal. Although, if we have the projected stats from our initial draft kit, plus the scoring settings from our other league, we should be able to compute FSI.... But it would be nice to have Mike do it for us!

I'm going to try hard not to join other leagues just because I love completing the drafts. That's how I ended up in three leagues instead of just one last year. Hopefully I'll be in two - my regular league plus one of the LWL leagues...

I do this every year lmao. This year I only wanted to do one of the LWL leagues and rerun one of the leagues from last year. I'm now committed to those two plus two others already lol.

Such is the fate of a hockey nut! I will probably be in the same boat this year.

We held spots for two leagues (32 people) and only 21 have chosen a league even after sending them pms and emails. Anybody who wants to join go on ahead. Just go and say which league you want in this thread if you want to join: http://www.leftwinglock.com/showthre...-want-to-be-in

Makes sense... Some of those folks will probably show up but it's pretty certain that some won't and it makes no sense to keep waiting. If people cannot respond when prompted it seems better to get people that are active now so we can get going. I know there will probably be a work stoppage but to me that's irrelevant.. We need to be ready in case there isn't one or it ends up being short

Yeah I believe we should get going soon, just in case some miracle does happen. The whole players are doing this for the fans is such a PR ploy. I hate to say it, but the more I read on this (and I have read alot) and after the press conferences yesterday I am starting to side with the owners on this one.

Not really the right topic but this thread has been a little dead lately anyway. Personally I am still siding with the players. The owners got everything they wanted outright with the CBA 7 years ago and now they are the ones refusing to continue to play under that same CBA? The rich owners have no qualms about paying 100 million dollar contracts for 15 years, just look at Philadelphia and Minnesota. It's the owners in small markets that frankly can't afford the salary floor and have no defense against bullying rich owners with the ceiling as high as it is.

The players have acknowledged the issue in their proposals while the owners continue to ignore the facts and insist solely on the idea that the players should bear the full brunt of the costs. You can't just keep putting a bandaid on the problem or we'll continue to see lockout after lockout. Yes, the players are millionaires but the ones that are going to be hurting from the new proposals are not the Crosbys and the Ovetchkins, it's the 2nd liners down who will be seeing the cuts.
