Wow, I am playing Be a Pro, and being a Windsor native I joined the Spits. This last game (vs the Soo) has crashed for various reasons 3 times. (Only one is EAs fault). Time to just sim it and go to teh next game, this match up is cursed.

I never ran across a problem like that on the 360 version. I had a similar issue with FIFA 12, though. I basically just had to start over because I couldn't find a way past it other than to delete my Pro's file.

Bought a PS3 + NHL12 2-3 days ago. First time it crashed was during the update, the second time during the Winter Classics game in the beginning, the third and fourth time during my Be a GM season. I deleted the NHL file and now I'm playing without any updates and it hasn't crashed since. This sucks!

buddy has it on both ps3 AND xbox
before 12, he used to RIP IT on ps3 all the time. since 12, he's played maybe 20 games on his ps3 b/c it crashes mid-game SO DAMN OFTEN.
on the 360 it has happened but i blame that more on it being older, used more and being caked w/ dust + smoke residue

There's gotta be a better explanation on the EA forums or something, though. One of my buddies has it on PS3 and has never had an issue with it. There's gotta be some kind of work around for it.
EDIT (just because I don't feel like making a new post about it):
I just got done with one of the worst games ever online.
My friends and I are up to about level 50 online, so sometimes it's hard to find people that are also that high up. But I was playing and started out in game against the Flyers as the Pens. Goes to a shootout and I lose there. Whatever. Next game, I get the same opponent. I was the Rangers, other guy had the canucks. No scoring in the first period. 2nd period comes around and he gets 3 goals in a row. All of them should have been covered, but he managed to poke THROUGH Lundqvist's pads to get the puck in the net. After that I pull Lundy and just mess around with Biron. While trying to start a goalie fight (because I was annoyed with the game), he scores on the empty net, making it 4-0. 3rd period starts and he scores 1 good goal on a 2 on 1 and then another goal where it should have been covered. It's 6-0 at that point with like 5 minutes left. I manage to score 4 goals in the final 3 minutes. Final score 6-4. And all because NHL 12 is broken and doesn't understand that when pucks are covered, they're covered. So mad at that game right now.

YEah, I can understand your frustration, I was playing Be a Pro, game seven of the conference finals, and the Erie Otters scored on their first 4 shots. 4-0 after the 1st and we're outshooting them 18-4.
