It was rather funny seeing a little Zac Rinaldo drill him in open ice. The guy is 40 lbs lighter than Doughty and dropped him.

That was a solid hit! Richards had a nice one later in the game as well.

Hmm if he's out doesn't that bump up J. Johnson's value quite a bit? I have him as my 3rd defender and he's been producing well, skating a TON (30 minutes last game) and putting up the points..I don't know if its ever good to have your top linemate out, but I wonder if he sees an uptick in production now that he should be manning the point on the PP (and that's where the guy does most of his scoring anyway, on the PP)

Glad I traded for Johnson in my 3rd weekly pool. (you haven't seen that one Mark...it's private so I can't show)...

its possible. I had him last year but his +/- burned me nicely. guy puts up the points no doubt!!!

Yea his +/- is not such a good thing lol...I think that's a product of two things - obviously that his line gets scored upon, but also that over half his points come on the PP thus not effecting his +/-. But being that he's my 3rd defender (behind Edler, Pietrangelo...I'd say possibly 4th if Whitney plays like he did last year coming off injury) I can deal with the ugly +/- for everything else he gives. His ice time is giong through the roof lately (over 30 minutes last game) which is very important in my league. Well its not very iportant as its one scoring category but if its one I have on lock every week then yea, its nice..and last week my entire squad through the entire week averaged over 21 minutes on the ice, so I don't think anyone's touching me there for awhile Too bad I got blistered 11-4 by the FLYERS ouch
