That's right. We'll be sending out details on how all of this will work at the end of July.

Any guesses as to whether there will be a 50-goal scorer this year?
Yes Stamkos will get at lest 50 once again......I predict we will see at least 2-3 - 50 goal scorers next year - Malkin as well!

Although the weather is great and the cottage and boating is calling my name - I cannot wait to get going with Hockey!!!! There better not be a delay in starting the season - these owners and players better get their heads in the game and get a deal completed.

    Thanks Mike.....

I have been using LWL Draft Kit for the past two years, and I look forward to the analysis for this year's draft. I finished in 2nd place in 2010-11 and won my league last year by a large margin, almost 200 points ahead of the 2nd place team. Having stat projections and FSI based on my league's custom scoring is extremely helpful. Can't wait for the season to start!!

By the way, I have created an Excel spreadsheet with the 2012-13 season broken down by each team each day and whether their game is home or away. I use it to project my number of games played by position (the limiting factor in my points league) and to look at team match-ups. If you think it would be helpful, I will post it.

Question: In the draft kit, will we be able to change our customized scoring? For example, sometimes I feel the +/- category affects the player's value too much, will I be able to delete that category, or make it worth say 50% value?

Definitely. The spreadsheets will be set up in such a way that you could easily assign a multiplier of 0 to the +/- category to make it have no impact, or something like 0.5 to simply lessen the impact. Of all the categories, that one seems to be the least predictable, so we're looking at providing total player scores with and without that category.
