    Championship...How'd ya do?

Well, I have 3 hockey teams.

team A: 9/12- League isnt technically over, but my relevancy ended about a month ago. I had slowly climbed back into 3rd and boom Howard went down. I could realistically get 7th but im sticking a fork in it and preparing for the real playoffs

team B: 2/12- Got some right, got some things horribly wrong. Toews' injury really hurt. I had hossa and toews and neither really preformed when it mattered. Lost in the finals by just a few points.

team C: my signature- Lost last week by 3.2 points. ugh...hard to complain too much when you get beat by a team scoring 165 more points than their weekly average (thats over double) By thursday I had enough points to win the third place game. Overall, I'd love to have this team again next year.

Averages out to a 4th place finish.

Well, my only league that mean anything (team in sig), crushed my opponent in every offensive and defensive categories (except SHP) and lost goalie stats 3-1. I beat my opponent 9-4 much to the chagrin of my former coworkers.

I have a couple other leagues still on the go, 1 in which I am new to and battling for the championship.

Well, I won the league last season, but this season got knocked out in the first round of playoffs (ouch). It was all timing and hot/cold streaks, really: Pekke Rinne faltered there for a little while, Datsyuk had his knee surgery and missed a lot of games, Bruins went on a skid, Ryan Kesler VANISHED (and is still missing, wtf is up with that guy?), etc... Looking like a third place finish this season, as I'm leading my current opponent by a comfortable margin.

Keeper league so I am really looking forward to hashing through the numbers and watching the off-season stuff to help me select my keepers (8) for next year.

In one league I got first and in the other I got last. It's kinda funny because the league I got last in went just how I wanted it to in the draft and the league I got first in I was scrambling the whole draft.

Well, I only ran 1 team this year, i ended up crushing my way through the playoffs. Team in sig. took 3rd last year, places were draft picks for this year as the first year we start to keep keepers. I have a very strong lineup for the next few years. And before you ask, i made many trades within the first monthof play and dealt the hotstreaks to get what i wanted.

Ya, it was largely due to the advice and opinions I got here, so thanks to everyone for that. The advice was spot on more often then not, so I ended up preordering a draft kit for next year.

And please ignore any typos, I'm still getting the hang of typing on this damn iPad.

I finally won a Championship game on the 3rd attempt and I'd like to say a big thanks to the staff and other forum users here at LWL for a great season of discussion and advice.

Bit of a disappointing victory in that my opponent was stupid enough to drop Elliott before the final so I could pick him up and grab a shutout which led to me decimating him on goalie stats and that he was obviously a straight points chaser despite there being 10 categories as he had goals and assists all but wrapped up by saturday night and yet didn't bother to try catching me for +/- or PIMs. Still, a win is a win!
