Thanks, my signature is a little out of whack since I've spot starting a ton of guys in an attempt to erase a pretty big deficit in my points league. Unfortunately, I grabbed Rollie yesterday (hence my post on the 'who starts' thread). If Caron were to be confimed, who would you consider the lesser of two evils? Caron or Budaj?

Or would you grab both for a guaranteed win, and drop Rollie and a skater (and hope that neither TBL/MTL allows enough GA to give me negative points)?

How many goals (roughly) does it take for a losing goalie to get negative points? Do you have a cap on goalie starts for the season?

the goalie scoring breakdown is: W = 5, Saves = 0.2, Shutouts = 3, GA = -1.

So a goal against for every 5 shots would be breaking at an even 0, which is pretty bad, but so are both goalies. It hurts the most if a goalie gets chased early, but happens pretty often in games with low shot totals. either one of them posting negative points may detract enough from the automatic 5 points I'd to make it worth the drops. I've used 8 out of my 13 moves allotted for the week.

As reference for potential points to be had by skaters: G = 3, A = 2, PPP = 1, SHP = 2, BLK = 0.5, PIM = 0.3 (per minute)

Any more thought? I grabbed Caron and dropped Rollie just for the hell of it, as Rocketman mentioned, TBL will be trying to get Stamkos's goal count up at the very least.

Still got some time before puck drop, as of now, I think I'll take my chances with my roster as is instead of dropping someone for Budaj.

Haha, after all that, Caron did the worst possible. 5 goals on 20 shots, and a -1 score for the night. Still made up a little ground with Perron and McDonald coming through for me. Budaj would have put me in the lead. Just the luck of the draw. Thanks for the input though.
