Gee, you think Team B is a Bruins fan ? LOL. GO TEAM B, but I don't think we make it past the opening round. Drawing the Caps was not in our best interest and the Sens backed their way to 8th to meet the Rangers instead of us for sure. They went 3-1 vs. the Rangers and 1-3 vs. us. Meanwhile, the Caps were happy to jump into 7th to face us cuz they owned us 3-1 this season. Oh well, anything can happen though and of course will be hoping for my B's to pull it off.

I'd pick Team C because I like New Jersey's odds against Florida with their win streak going into the playoffs. Team C has Kovalchuk, Parise, and Elias who put up almost all the points for New Jersey. Besides them the team is fairly diverse, not loaded up with Pens and Nucks like some of the other teams. I'm surprised only Team D gave Sens players any chance.

Officiating. I admit im from chicago..so I called up several friends from other places (including detroit and st. louis) and asked their thoughts. Both said it was blatently obvious which team the NHL owned. The non call and on torres hit on hossa with a ref 5 feet away watching the play (hes staring at the hit in every replay/highlight) just was the icing on the cake. I'm not saying that the Hawks woulda WON..or were the better playing team...but taking all those games into overtime was quite an accomplishment. Its a shame that Mike Smith's play is overshadowed slightly by the biased officiating.

The suspension reduction well..I'll keep most my thoughts to myself on that. Bettmans words (on why he reduced the suspension) and his actions don't line up.
