Evander Kane Seeking Trade?

According to Julie Stewart-Binks of CTV Regina, Kane has asked Winnipeg to trade him.

Note that this is being refuted by Leah Hextall (of CTV Winnipeg) who says Darren Dreger told her this was not true.

I don't mind the rumor mongers, gives us things to think about. Some of them are right. Nonetheless it is good entertainment and fun to speculate on what could be.

Crime, horribly extreme weather, and horrible public transportation to start. I've only ever visited, I can't imagine living there. At least hockey players get to travel so he's not there all year.

If the Flames want to be a serious team for the playoffs ... they need to add Kane to their roster if at all possible. The west has been greatly improved and I feel Calgary is on the outside looking in right now unfortunately.

The Flames need to rebuild imo. They should've done this a while ago.

They're always holding onto the hope that they can make their way into the playoffs and have a good run... and it never pans out. If they rebuilt a couple years ago they could be a solid playoff team by now... butt Iggy and Kipper aren't getting any younger, so Calgary is left with deteriorating assets... Any rebuild that they do from here on out won't be nearly as effective as one would have been 2 or 3 years ago.

Exactly. Whoever is their Gm (can't think of him at the moment) really should be replaced. They've set themselves up for failure for years to come.

Jay Feaster... is the GM of the Flames. And I agree.. he should be replaced.. especially when he had a chance at Malcolm Suban in this years draft.. and passed on him for a virtual long shot in high school that won't be ready for another 4 years.
