According to Julie Stewart-Binks of CTV Regina, Kane has asked Winnipeg to trade him.

Note that this is being refuted by Leah Hextall (of CTV Winnipeg) who says Darren Dreger told her this was not true.

I am far more willing to give Feaster a shot. GM Sutter left him with an older slower team with mainly high priced contracts and no trade clauses. Combine that with a lack of prospects and Feasted has nothad a lot to work with. I am not going to slam him for his draft pick as the reality is that neither of us knows for sure that he isn't right with his pick.

As for moves feaster has made, I like many of them. I still don't think he tea is good enough but would be pleased if they prove me wrong as Hudler, Cervenka, wideman all prosper. I know I was really happy to get rid of bourque... His apathy was astonishing

Hudler is actually a really solid player if he's put in the right situation. I would've taken him at 4 mill, 4 years over Samuelsson at 3 mill, 3 years for sure. The Wideman signing was one of the worst of the year though.

I think the Wideman signing remains to be seen. He'll be the top D-man in Calgary, it is tough to gauge without knowing how he will work in the Calgary System.

Absolutely. He may turn out to be pretty good there, but at 5.25 it's a pretty big overpayment. He's great offensively, awful defensively.
