    yup

I can be online every few hours to check in at the forum for offline draft but for an online draft I am realistically available about 4-6 hours a day -- since some of those times are late here in mountain standard they would be crazy late for EST guys--
I could start a weekday draft any time after 6pm mountain so thats an 8 pm EST start

BUt I still prefer a forum draft for the chatter etc etc-- I loike that it takes a while

Just a suggestion.
It shouldnt be too long if we set short timelines for picks like a minute or less but on process I would suggest we first see if people prefer online or offline in their league and try to make the first choice of the majority work

I am in Mountain time as well (same city), but I don't care which, I will make anything work.

This. There's no point in doing all of the work to see if we can make a time that works for all of us. We should see what the vote is first.

Well if you guys don't mind running the offline draft, I have no problem with it. I just think it will be a lot of work.

An offline draft is definitely better for me if somebody is willing to put in the work to help out. My sleeping schedule is probably 3-11am EST (I never get the 8 hours but you've gotta dream, right?) and I can check a couple of times a day at work. Ideally, if somebody is willing to take some lists from me at different times in the draft I'd really appreciate it so that I'm not slowing down the rest of the draft.

Its less work than you fear and I will certainly help. If there are just 3 or 4 folks that are frequently on and others are good about sending a couple of alternates for their next pick whjen they won't be around, it CAN move like lightning

Yes, I am more than willing to help with this. I will be on regularly enough especially if the draft is going on. I can also help out with picks.

What the heck, off-line seems to be the preferred path. I have no objection.
