Offer for Stamkos - Keeper

So I am in a 10 team H2H keeper league and I have the luxury of having one of the best players in the game on my team. I finished 7th last year and my keepers for this year are as follows:

S. Stamkos, J. Iginla, P. Marleau, D. Backes, D. Boyle, A. Ladd, J. Johnson, R. Vrbata, B. Seabrook, C. Hodgson, B. Schenn, A. Niemi

The keeper rules are 12 players - 1 goalie min and 1 "young player"

The positions covered are:

C, C, C, LW, LW, LW, RW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, D, D, Util, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR, IR, IR, IR

Stat Categories: Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG)
Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

I was offered E. Kane, PK Subban, MA Fleury for Steven Stamkos

I really don't think this makes my team any better, in fact I think it actually makes it worse with the loss of Stamkos. I don't think Fleury has as much value now with the Vokoun signing and in a league like this that is so heavily focused on offense, I am losing a lot from one position.

What are your thoughts?

I don't like the deal at all. While Kane would put up nice numbers, they won't touch those of Stamkos. The bigger worry here is the Fleury inclusion. He'll get tons of Wins, but his GAA and SV% have never been great for fantasy hockey.

As an aside, I do see someone named Vrbata who I bet you could sell high on on a pre-draft trade. What do you think?

I am on par with everything you said and those were exactly my worries. I was offered Eberle in place of Kane, but I am still not swayed.

I do agree with this and was thinking of trading him for something, what would you think would be fair value? I would like another goalie but there would have to be some sort of package involved I am sure.

So I included 15 players, I am not sure who he has decided to keep, but they could be his potential throw aways. This would make him a sure fire contender, and would leave me in the dust. I can't see much working.

Wow, that guy is absolutely stacked. I think you're right that the three players he offered are the three he was going to send back into the draft anyway. It would suck sending Stamkos to pair with Malkin and Ovie but if you could figure out a way to use his ridiculous depth against him, it could work to your favor. Your team is really lacking in depth so I would consider sending Stamkos if you can get something like Tavares+ back.

Yep, I agree... I would turn that one down. Not to mention, Kane isn't signed yet.. so he might miss some playing time.
