I have been being positive about this lockout to the extent possible ( thinking about other activities) but today hurts. Today was to be Montreal at Calgary. I know neither team is good these days but the Canadians were "my team" growing up so every time they come to town its a little bit special for me. Also the Dome is always just a little bit more fun when the Habs come to town.
So this is a day where, personally, the lockout strike home. Damn them all!!!

Mike Richards was worth getting up for. I almost spit coffee all over the windshield the first time I heard him announcing his "Horsefaces" team's games (Celine Dion, Cher, Sarah Jessica Parker, etc) ...
The Fan960 is tedious at best anymore. It's like they think the sun doesn't shine until the Flames get up. And I'd cross the street to avoid Jim Rome ...

I never hear Rome since I am at work. But your comment hit home with me about how very mediocre to downright awful the morning show there has become. I was listening out of habit but noticed I was switching more and more often to 660 to "check the traffic" and not bothering to switch back.

I listen to CJAY. Gerry Forbes is an absolute riot and the talking to Americans bit they do is always fantastic. The last one they did was asking them what a Toboggan was and most thought it was a hat.
