Ok I have Halak, Varlamov, and Kiprusoff as my goalies. I've been offered Elliott for Kiprusoff. I'd love to have Elliott but Varlamov is a question mark. I know Kipper's gonna give me the starts and wins, especially in a shortened season. But as a backup, can Elliott do what he did last year??
Also, I was offered Kovalchuck and Pominville for Toews and Eberle. Seems fair but I'm stacked on LW (D. Sedin and Parise) and tight on RW.

What goalie stats does your league use? Kipper is a pretty consistent goaler that is usually the MVP of his team so I don't see a lot of question marks on him. Their new coach is envisioning a more offensive team so that could possibly affect Kipper's numbers but I don't think so. Elliot on the other hand has never put up numbers close to those of last year and is more likely to play a backup role than Kipper so he's a bit of a risk. If you count saves in your league, Kipper is the definite favorite because St. Louis doesn't let a lot of shots on net.
