Time to try and deal Luongo?

My roto league, I'm thinkin of trying to deal Luongo. Is it worth it to hold onto him or should I try and move him now given that the season is so short?

I have a couple of guys in mind, but the one I was wondering about was Varlamov. I know Luongo is the better goalie, but I think Varlamov is set to break out. Since it looks like an upgrade in net for the other guy, I could potentially parlay it into a package deal.

It seems like dealing Luongo right now would be selling him at his low value. His maximum value here comes if/when he is traded. His lowest value comes a little bit later into the season if he's still on Vancouver. You're trying to dance in between these two limits and get better value for Luongo.

I think I'd wait here a little bit to see if:

1. Vancouver makes the trade.
2. A team in your league has abysmal goaltending early on.

Tough call. If you wait and Varlamov has a few great outings, you just shot yourself in the foot. But just so you know, I have Varlamov, and I wouldn't trade him straight up for Luongo right now.
