Rookies - who will stay

I want RNH to stay because the line of Hall - RNH - Eberle is awesome to watch and he boosts Halls value. They did allow Hall to stay last year even though he got off to a slow start, but he did get hurt and that may factor into their decision.

Larsson is the guy I felt was most NHL ready of the group. Not saying he's going on to be rookie of the year, but I would have been the most surprised to see him miss the cut.

+1 and I'm glad to see they kept him up. Him and Hall need to develop chemistry and are a bright future in Edmonton.

I just don't see how Edmonton CANNOT keep Nugent-Hopkins. He is their leading scorer, and the guy obviously not only ready for the NHL but is playing quite well. I don't see what sending him back down to the AHL would do for him at this point. Usually teams do that to get the guy more consistent playing time if they haven't cracked the top 6..they figure they can develop more with steady playing time every night. Well Nugent-Hopkins is playing on the TOP line and is their TOP scorer...so what good is it to send the kid back down? He has to stay.

Landeksog same thing - how can you justify sending him down when he's in a similar situation as RNH? He is doing quite well and has easily cracked the top 6 so once again, what in the world does he "improve" upon if he goes down to the AHL? He is already seeing top time for them so he stays.

Couturier and Larrson are a bit more difficult to predict IMO. Philly is loaded and they might see value in sending him back down to get more playing time. Larrson I have no idea. Just my thoughts.
