Think of it this way, if you drop Broduer what do you figure your chances of getting him off of FA or waivers are in the future? If they answer is probably then feel free to grab somebody on that list if they are looking hot right now. If they answer is you'll never see him on the wire again you might want to reconsider.

I wouldnt be so quick to drop Brodeur, he will be snatched up immediately. He is still better than any of those options you listed above IMO. Last year he spent time on the DL and then finished the season on fire. If you dont want to go with Brodeur, send out some trade requests. He still should bring back something of value, dont just flat drop him though.
